Green Card Holder and US Citizen Senior Support Java Developer position. Under broad supervision, provides application and user support on a continuing basis. Troubleshoots and resolves end-user problems. Analyzes, designs, and develops software modifications to meet users’ needs. Job Summary: This position is a senior technical support java developer position. Provides technical support for Java based 3rd party product. Under broad supervision, provides both application and user support on a continuing basis. Will be involve in java application development. Troubleshoots and resolves end-user problems. Analyzes, designs, and develops software modifications to meet users’ needs. Participates in application upgrades and deployments. May develop and conduct training programs for users. Owns assigned tasks. May serve as a lead or train staff. Qualifications: The successful candidate for this position will possess the following skills and experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience as a java software developer and providing technical support for 3rd party web application products. Including deployment/implementation, application modification, and application error debugging. Our applications are both custom-built in-house products as well as third-party off-the-shelf products with customizations. Regular application validation is required due to infrastructure or component upgrades and patches. Demonstrable skill and hands on experience in diagnosing and resolving application issues, application deployment, application configuration, scripting, performing data analysis, writing SQL and stored procedures. Technical Skills – experience and knowledge which include the following: •Hands-on Java/J2EE programming and diagnostic experience •Configuration and support of enterprise software applications •Knowledge of Oracle and/or MS SQL Server, including the ability to write complex SQL queries •Knowledge of application servers such as Apache, Tomcat, and BEA WebLogic •Knowledge of Windows and Unix server operating systems •Knowledge of Eclipse IDE •Knowledge of git code repositories •Experience in developing web applications in.NET environment using C# and ASP and ADO with Microsoft Visual Studio .NET (6 months of more) is a plus Required/Desired Skills Skill Required /Desired Amount of Experience Java/J2EE Required 3 Years JavaScript Required 3 Years Knowledge of application servers such as Apache, Tomcat, and BEA WebLogic Required 3 Years Knowledge of Windows and Unix server operating systems Highly desired 1 Years Knowledge of Eclipse IDE Required 3 Years Knowledge of git code repositories Nice to have 1 Years Oracle / SQL Server databases Required 2 Years Technical Support Experience Required 3 Years Experience in developing web applications in.NET environment using C# and ASP and ADO with Microsoft Visual Studio .NET Nice to have 6 Months
